ABOUT

When Thomas was six years-old, he’d sit at his mother’s editing table and steal bits of unused film. He’d spend hours of assembling the outtakes into quirky little movies. Now, he shoots his own films and tells his own stories.

Thomas has directed commercials all over the world for a variety of clients including: Sony, Ford, Lexus, Nestle, AXA, Dannon, Teleflora, Ikea, Infiniti, UNHCR, Toyota, Yammer, SF Giants and Pepsi.  His work has garnered several awards and has been shown at Cannes. Most recently, he received a Gold Mobius for a Teleflora campaign.

Thomas also writes and directs long format. In 2004, his short “The Call” won the John Sayles Award for Best Narrative Short at the Westcliffe Film Festival. In 2008, Thomas directed the pilot for “Iris Expanding” for 20th Century Fox TVS and the CW. In 2009, Thomas directed the pilot for “G-Block”. He is currently developing the “Hollywood Studio Club” with Executive Producers Jerry Offsay and John Sacret Young.

Thomas also wrote “the book” on commercial directing which is used as a textbook by universities and film schools all over the world.
